Founder Bio

Steve Krieger is an organizational effectiveness consultant and founding principal of VisionPoint Consulting Team, Inc. Since 1989, VisionPoint has helped many organizations enhance their results by building organizational capacity and maximizing individual talent. Steve specializes in developing high performance teams and organizations; competency and experiential-based leadership development programs; and partnership based coaching skills for managers. He is an expert at facilitating experiential-based learning as a management and organizational development tool and is adept in working with companies to establish, reinforce, and/or change their organizational culture.

Prior to founding VisionPoint Consulting Team, Mr. Krieger was an internal Management and Organizational Development Consultant with Syntex Laboratories (a California-based pharmaceutical company) and Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E). In these positions, he designed and facilitated management and executive development programs. While at PG&E, Steve developed all aspects of the company's full scale Outdoor Leadership Training Program, which included the design and construction of the acclaimed Challenge Ropes Course.

Mr. Krieger's instructor certifications include Human Synergistics Feedback Instrumentation, McBer & Company's Organization Improvement Program (OIP), Management Research Group's Management Effectiveness Analysis (MEA), and Situational Leadership Materials. He is licensed to facilitate and distribute numerous experiential programs including: Change of Course, Gold of the Desert KingsŪ, Promises, Promises!™, and Excelleron™. Steve also co-authored and published the internationally acclaimed management team building simulation "Whitewater."

Mr. Krieger received his Master's degree in Organizational Behavior and Management from California American University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management from San Francisco State University, and an Associates degree in Civil Engineering from Westchester College
